About us
Hello, the Busy Bee Quilters are a non-profit quilt guild based in Lake Stevens, Washington, bringing together quilter from across Snohomish County and beyond. Whether you're just beginning or you have been piecing quilts for decades, you'll find a home here.
We meet once a month for our guild meeting. In addition we have open sewing sessions, workshops, retreats, Quilt-a-thons and have a variety of community service projects. Please see our charity page for details about our projects.
It's More Than A Hobby, It's A Community
At Busy Bee Quilters Washington, you'll walk into a room full of people who understand the satisfaction of perfectly matched seams and the frustrations of running of a fabric you cant find again. We share tips, techniques, patterns and plenty of laughs. Come for the sewing an stay for the friendships.
Visitors are always welcome to drop for a meeting - no RSVP required, no experience need. Just show up and see what the Buzz is all about.
Visitors may attend upto 2 meeting before deciding to join.
Our meetings typically consist of a short business meeting, a presentation and show and tell, and more sewing.
Meetings are on the 3 rd Thursday of the Month
Daytime: 12 - 3 pm
Evening: 6:30 - 8:30 pm

Note: Meetings are cancelled if the Snohomish School District closes or delayed due weather

Prior to guild meets we have open sewing sessions at:
10 am - 12 pm
and
2 pm - 6 pm
Bring your own project to work on or you can grab a project to work on from the Charity table. Bring your own snacks or bag dinner.
GIVING BACK
We at Busy Bee Quilters enjoy giving back to our community. We enjoy making quilts, doll quilts, and pillowcases for those in need. In addition we donate to local food banks.
